The hotel had convenient parking i found. the bar area allows dogs. That suited my needs. the staff was friendly and helpful, especially imi at the bar. the dog-friendly room had an outside patio. It was a benefit.
the hotel breakfast was busy. i had to ask for cutlery. the table was not cleaned either.

missing plugcheeky service charge
the bedside lamp didn't plug in anywhere, very odd. breakfast cost extra, something like £16 each DAY. it was decent enough, just standard buffet stuff, but i found the additional service charge at the bottom of the breakfast menu very cheeky. it felt a bit underhanded and unnecessary.

The staff were cute and helpful . The room was clean and well-kept each day of my visit. I found the gym had modern equipment including treadmills and weight machines. There was ample parking near all entrances to the building.
I noticed slight wear on some carpets in the hallway. but it was not too bothersome.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of items including fresh fruit. Yogurt, and a variety of pastries. Hot items such as scrambled eggs were also available. Service was prompt with staff clearing tables quickly.

The spa included a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, all maintained at appropriate temperatures. The pool area offered sun loungers and also provided towel service to guests. ALL areas was very clean.

mixed feelings about my stay
sneaky chargeterrible wifi
I was pretty annoyed that the spa wasn't included (i assumed it would be). it was like a sneaky extra charge. the room itself was nothing special. the decor felt old, and i thought it was overpriced for what it was. also, the wifi was terrible. It barely worked in my room.
